- “Aria and Dance“ Through their contrasting parts, the lilting Aria and the temperamental Dance reveal the primal aspirations of the soul.
- “Autumn Waltz” is a sentimental melody which, played in 12/8 time, transforms into a stylized image of a waltz, synchronizing mood and moment.
- “Introduction and Waltz” encourages the performer to showcase the virtuosity and expressiveness that make string instruments magical.
